I normally do, but I couldn't find any at the store it was sold out along with all the strawberrys

As fate would have it, exactly at the 3 week mark, my sourdough starter finally doubled after a feeding!

I promptly put it to use to try my first sourdough sandwich bread. It took a while to rise but here it is.

Over the prior days, while I was waiting for my starter to mature, I decided what-the-heck. I'll take some discard and start another jar of starter and see what happens. This is what came of it this afternoon... (look familiar, @jnicholes ? lol)

So I had to use some of that up.... made some sourdough oatmeal cookies...

I'm going to add orange zest next time. I love cinnamon and orange!
