When they are smaller ones like that you can prick the skin with a fork and microwave them till tender enough to cut in half easily. Then scoop out the seeds and if the flesh is really soft I put it into a casserole dish and heat it with a little butter and brown sugar till that cooks together.View attachment 3669328

Sorry, I didn't read the whole post all the way and thought you shot a quail's head off@Insnesnakos, I noticed that you responded negatively to the picture of the quail that I took while hunting last Monday. Did I happen to offend you in someway?
