Well, how do I cook a Blue Hubbard Squash? Are they mainly used for soup and pies? I have no idea where to start.

When they are smaller ones like that you can prick the skin with a fork and microwave them till tender enough to cut in half easily. Then scoop out the seeds and if the flesh is really soft I put it into a casserole dish and heat it with a little butter and brown sugar till that cooks together.
If it’s still hard you can bake in oven or boil. Personally I’ve never boiled them. I remember my dad cutting huge Hubbard squashes with an ax. Then My mom baked chunks in foil or a covered baking dish. You will probably make something very tasty!

@Insnesnakos, I noticed that you responded negatively to the picture of the quail that I took while hunting last Monday. Did I happen to offend you in someway?

If I did, I am very sorry and I won’t post hunting pictures again if they bother you.

Regards,

Jared
Sorry, I didn't read the whole post all the way and thought you shot a quail's head off
