They do. A Red-Tailed hawk came by yesterday. It flew around us because I think it knew the crows were here. I had a fountain I'm converting over to a crow bath. They use the bird bath but it is very shallow. They do drink out of it and try to bathe in it.
This is the old bird bath. The red circle is where the water filler tube is. Twice a day it fills the bird bath.

This is the crow bird bath I chipped the fountain out of the center and the little tube in the middle will keep it full of water. I will cut it off but I left it sticking out when I put the concrete in.

I know that crows and owls are enemies, but I didn't know crows and hawks had issues also.

Crows are so smart - if you do them wrong, they remember it forever and never forgive. I watched a murder of crows harass a huge barn owl one day. They chased him from one tree to another. I mentioned it to my Dad and he told me that owls will kill and eat crows during their nightly hunt, so crows will harass owls during the day when they find them.

That is such a cool idea for the crows, bet they will enjoy their new and improved bath.

We have crows AND ravens. They are great to have around...make friends with them. They will keep the predator owls and hawks away from your chickens...BUT...if you have little chicks running around, BEWARE! They will pick off your chicks to feed their young'uns.

So it is with nature!

We have a member on the Aussie thread that was being driven insane by their cawing constantly just outside her window. (A bunch of them made it their home nesting tree) So encourage them but careful how closely lol

Over here I've never seen a crow chasing a hawk but I will often notice one above us because of the pee wees giving it a hard time and moving it on. Now that's a brave bird when you consider their size!
