Any Home Bakers Here?

Got my chicken cooked and gonna make the chicken salad.

Believe it or not, I have never made it.  All recipes I find add celery and mayo and sweet pickle relish.  But some add boiled eggs and some don't.
I did one time add boiled egg to tuna salad and it really is better without.

Any comments on adding the egg or not to chicken salad will be greatly appreciated.

I make mine with plane yogurt instead of mayo, then garlic powder, salt, pepper, thinly sliced red onion and dried cranberries or some slices grapes. Sounds odd, but it's really yummy. I sometimes put a tiny bit of mustard if we have any that's good mustard.

I have shared some of my creations here. I'm just getting into baking. I'm more of a cook than a baker. I like to make things up not follow recipes lol I also like to combine 4 or 5 recipes and that desire doesn't always translate to baking

You are a baker and don't know it…all looks so great to me!

You must eat so much healthier than me…cannot think of yogurt in place of my beloved Miracle Whip…and for a Southerner - strangely I don't like raw onion….but the dried cranberries and sliced grapes sound wonderful…don't have any so next time will get some….but a tiny bit of mustard sounds good….will do.

Thanks for the input.

You seem to be both a baker and a chef! And as a side note, don't judge food on what's on the outside because the inside is what really matters.

There have been plenty of ugly cakes/cupcakes that I've made that tasted delicious.

The yogurt gives it a nice flavor, but I don't like mayo or miricle whip. I also put cheese in. The grapes or cranberries are so good! I put in on a sandwich or just eat with wheat thins or just by itself. Yum!

Tonight's last minute "oh shot we haven't had dinner" idea. Broccoli, potatoe, onion, cheese and chicken Apple sausage quicke. Started to cut it before I thought to get a picture.
