Costco should have it seasonally and it is like the Le Creuset version but a lot less expensive.

OMG you volunteered for the dunking

:fl

Haha! I did! It was just for 30 minutes. All I had to do was sit there, sounded way better then having to run a booth. The water was warm and I was the second person to do it, so wasn't gross. My friend did the first 30 minutes. I wouldn't want to be the last person, the water would have cooled a lot by then and would be dirty

and gross. This way I got 30 minutes of cheering on the kids, a few dunks and my husband was on dad duty

. It was actually a lot of fun, kids are so excited to try and dunk anyone

It is a 6.5qt.

I am sorry you do not have a costco close by!
Thanks, now I can be more specific for Santa.
I would kill for an absolutely tried and true chocolate babka recipe made in a bundt pan.
Who has it, without using the internet?
Duh, you are using the internet

. But never heard of them, so had to google and that sounds great, hope someone has a proven recipe.

Well, duh yes, but the internet has a bajillion variations.
I was the head chef at the NY deli in Boulder Co, when Mork and Mindy were the hot ticket.
We used to get in fresh boiled bagels, and these awesome babka's from a place called Rudi's. I believe the Babka was a Russian thing, but it might have been Jewish, I can't remember.
You would stomp your mother's instep for a slice of this toasted, buttered heaven.
I called Rudi's and they're still there, but their business profile has changed, and they don't make Babka anymore. I would have paid to have one shipped because I'm so Jonesing for one.

Anyways, I'm just kicking the tires, and shaking the trees to see what falls out.

@BBQJOE I made a chocolate cinnamon babka in the past. It's a recipe in a Peter Reinhart (sp?) baking book. If you want, I'll type it all out for you tomorrow, it's too lengthy for me to do tonight. It was amazing!

*swearing* Yeah, I'd love that! Would it be easier to scan it?

I don't have any way of doing that. But I might use my camera, there are some good pictures that go along with it (from what I remember).

I promise, I'll post the recipe tomorrow...the book is right here by my elbow.
