You rolls are making me hungry lol man today days been productive i got all the inside chores done. Next is errands and outside chores.

Nice! That always feels good the get the chores done! I must have caught the baking bug today, I'm making chocolate chip cookies too! My husband and son will be so happy!

I've had a hard last couple of weeks, trying to get out of this little funk. I haven't been baking much, but today I decided I should make something with the daycare because they love when we bake and so do I

. I'm making sourdough biscuits, the first recipe on the pdf file @ronott1 posted on post #1026. I have them rising now and will let you all know how they turn out!

Instead of making them as biscuits, I did sourdough rolls. I was a little worried they might not turn out well, but they are super yummy!

Your sourdough rolls look great Alice! I have to tip my hat to you for baking with all those little helpers, that takes a lot of patience.

Haha, well they all like it, the most frustrating part for me is getting all their hands washed and then have one stick a finger in their mouth or nose and have to get down and wash hands again

. All my 2+ year olds know the drill and are very good when we bake. I do make sure every item the kids make go home with them just to be safe.
I luckily like baking with them. I know for some people that's like the most frustrating thing for them because it's messy and lots of hand washing, just not their thing. I totally get it, but I'm glad it doesn't drive me crazy

It's nice to get things done! It's a never ending cycle.

More power to ya! LOL

Ooohhh cookies i like this thought. Once we run out of pineapple upside down cake i know what we are making. I would be baking the crackers today and some bread but i have three people suppose to come out to the hall that i have to deal with. Baking been moved to saturday. Lol i lnow what you mean alice i have only one help normally once or twice i have had to and its fun but the hand washingg annoying. That and gettting lucy to share when it comes to helping bake that been her and my special thing so she not to happy about sharing that time. Lol and tjo she just learned about licking the bowl from brownie mix and chocolate cake the other day she tried the upside down batter and she said yum lol she hasnt stopped licking any bowls since she started. For me the frustrating part is when i start to clean up and she wants to help which is great but her version isnt helpful lol. She tried to help clean the coop the other day one if the chores i dont want her doing. So i had her go get me the fresh straw/hay for the coop luckly she was happy doing that.

Getting supplies is a very good chore.
I keep a paint scraper in the coop DGD gets the eggs and I scrape the roosts.
Chores are important and responsibility will bond her to the chickens.

We made a Pumpkin cake into cookies yesterday and DGD couldnt get enough of the batter was eating dough balls
