Any Home Bakers Here?

Good 'ol Betty.
That reminds me, most things I cook I do not use a recipe unless it is a cake/bread/dessert.
I have had quite a few recipe books over the years, but my go to is Better Homes and Garden New Cookbook (the checkered one) It is from the early 90s and has been used quite often over the years. My Mom has one that she has used since the early 50s. It is filled with handwritten recipes, newspaper and magazine cut outs, etc, plus all the original content. She told me last year to come get it she didn't need to use it anymore. I happily went to get it, we started looking through it...she decided maybe there were a few more recipes she should try at her 85+ yrs

so one day I will get the coveted recipe book, but all in good time.
 
Lol my mom has one of those as well i wonder if she still has her's. Well tomorrow is lucy's birthday party (9days early) she going to be three

. Any how she doesnt like cake at all really she eat maybe one bite or just frosting. So this year i am making her a sugar cookie in the shape of little foot from the land before we will see how well i do. We did a tinker bell cake last year and that was pretty neat everyone thought i did well i think each year i will have to challange myself alittle more on the kids birthdays. Before icing.

So what kinda dish or container do you all keep your dough in? Figured I would ask before I get started with it.

Glass or plastic and a lid that will allow air out. King Arthur Flour sells a crock.
