Any Home Bakers Here?

One of my first times making bread, I was actually upset that it was so dense and thick, unlike the store bought bread. :hide  I soon came to learn that mine is natural, and I have absolutely no clue how they make theirs.

So true. I shudder to think what awful things are in that stuff.

I shudder to think of what is put in a lot of things. I like to bake all my relative's cakes, cupcakes, or whatever they want for their birthday. We once bought some cupcakes at a store, and one of them stayed soft and not moldy for 3 months. Makes you wonder.

Yep, I hear ya. My sister and BFF had a birthday in January and a friend bought a cake for them and I ate it, but TBH, it grossed me out. :sick

The tastes are usually good, but I can't help but wonder what all's in it. I've even recently been adamant about making the frosting as well, since there seems to be way too many ingredients in them too.

I don't see why it can't just be sugar, butter, and flavoring.

That's probably why they call it Wonder Bread...makes you wonder what they put in that stuff, lol.

hahahaha. Perhaps it's like that butter substitute, I can't believe it's not butter (or whatever it's called). "I wonder whether this is really bread"
