Any Home Bakers Here?

:thumbsup

(I'd offer to let you use my kitchen, but the commute would be a killer)

I did get the sink plumbing hooked up last night. I was able to sweep and mop the new floor too. I get to bake tomorrow! (in the morning because it is going to be over 100 here tomorrow)

ooh, I'd kill for a huge sink like that. I don't know why they make such small sinks these days. Just because you've got a dishwasher doesn't mean you don't get big baking pans to scrub. I usually take them out to the laundry and do them there.
It would take a road trip PLUS a boat ride to get around to all of us, right potato chip? :D
For me, or are some of you off the mainland? For me, plane only, but any of you stateside could hit route 66 (or whatever).

I watched a series with Billy Connolly in America, he went somewhere they fed him deep-fried turkey. I couldn't believe it. Some of the food over there has to be seen to be believed. I think I could eat my way across America, if given the chance. A friend sent me a cookbook with New Orleans recipes, I haven't made anything yet, but it all looks good. I'd like to try mufaletta (sp?)

The sink is awesome! It came with a drying rack that fits into the bottom too. I can get the burner grates into it too.

Hwy 80 goes from the San Francisco to the East coast. I am sitting less than three miles from it in my office here at University of California at Davis. The Sacramento Airport is close too. It would be fairly easy to get to NFC's place from 80 I think.

And the shelves from the fridge? They are another thing I use the laundry for. It's good and deep too, so anything you've put in there to soak or be washed up isn't visible. Excellent!

How far is it to go to Wyoming from where you are? Could you do it in a weekend trip?

It is a two day trip from here--depending on how much you want to drive. It is easy to get to Utah and then to Wyoming.
