I made a cake similar to that one a while back Ron. Lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and lemon curd!

ended up using two bags of cranberries as BF does love them so Ham tomorrow augrauten potatoes, deviled eggs, my mashed potatoes
A neighbor gave me some of this last year and I thought it was wonderful on ham.

Cranberry Relish
1 (12 oz.) package frozen cranberries (grind while frozen)
2 red delicious apples cored
2 oranges remove seeds. (I use the peel of one (1) or you can use peel of both.
Cut apples and oranges into size that will fit into your meat grinder.
Grind all of the above into a large bowl. Mix together and add enough sugar or sweetener to taste.
(Use grinding blade for coarseness that you want).

Good as a side dish or on toast

Will keep in fridge for 2-3 weeks.

That's pretty much like my parents always made their relish too! They used to make it for Thanksgiving. I've never had it on ham but it's tasty on a turkey sandwich!

Thanks for the reminder Bob :thumbsup

I just put eggs in a pot of boiling water, cook them about 14-15 minutes, then drop them in a bowl of icy water. Let them cool off and the shells slip right off.

Been doing it that way for a few years now and they turn out great!
That's exactly how I've done it for years, too! Except I only cook them for about 10-11 minutes. Much longer than that, and they seem to develop a greenish tint around the yolks. Here they seem perfect at 10-11 minutes, no runny whites and very easy to peel.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Love all your pics - everything looks so good!

I compromised with Hubs, who wanted turkey for Christmas, while I wanted something different. So, yesterday, I made a pork butt roast, au graten potatoes, roasted onions in cream sauce (added a few peas), homemade rolls and gingerbread pudding cake. Today, we'll have a turkey dinner, like Hubs wanted, with some left-overs from yesterday. We'll all be happy. Plus I saved about a dozen of each kind of Christmas cookie I made, so will put out a cookie tray, also.
