I, most definitely, LOVE to bake! My mom taught me how to at a very early age, and one of the first things she taught me how to make was Gingerbread. And now, 44 years later I still make some every year at least twice.

I have a dentist appt. later today, so will make a pot of stew in the slow cooker. That way, if Hubs beats me home, dinner will be waiting for him. Slow cookers come in so handy sometimes!

I still absolutely LOVE going to my mom's and walking in to smell that wonderous aroma of soup/stew cooking in the slow cooker. It's the smells of my childhood
