Any Home Bakers Here?

The first thing my kids (grown) do when they come over is check the fridge. That's actually a good thing.

When we lived in VA I would can enough for three households... My pantry was the local store. Grand kids called it Grampy's Pantry Store. One in particular couldn't go home without one of her personalized sized jars of apple butter.

Last year i bought apples at $1 a pound at a roadside stand in Door County. I also got pumpkins and squash at unbelievably low prices. It was near the end of the season, so it was a slightly lower selection, but still awesome.
I miss our place in Eau Claire County, we were within 10 minutes of about 6 orchards and our old neighbor says a winery opened up since we left.
i am really wanting to make bread, but my kitchen is such a mess. I need to give it a good scrubbing this morning so i can actually use it. I have such a bad habit of making supper and leaving dishes go till later. Gotta work on that!
I want to make that Apple Fritter bread. it sure looks yummy.

The only thing I baked was couple of zucchini breads, my girls (10 & 7) and my wife think it’s an epic fail. My son (8) and I ate it all while playing PlayStation and stick to making awesome stir fry with eggs.
