Pink/red/white hearts, brown cowboy hats, pink/purple/white bonnets, green dinosaurs

That would have been perfect...if I'd had enough powdered sugar  I could only make 3 colors...anyone up for a purple dinosaur?
Iced sugar cookies 1.JPG

Start with homemade vanilla. Everything is better with a few splashes of vodka!!
Preheat oven to 325*
3 C flour
2 C sugar
2/3 C cocoa
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 C water
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 C vegetable oil
2 tsp vinegar

Mix, and pour into a 13x9 greased and floured pan. Bake for 45 minutes.

:clap:clap I’m impressed!!
I had to make powdered sugar from scratch.

I actually remembered that BC! But since these are just practice cookies and I'd already spent a good part of the day on them, I decided to settle for 3 colors

@N F C Those turned out Great:thumbsup

BC that looks scrumptious :drool

There was a time in my life when I was pretty good with a piping bag. DW had a collection of Wilton pans and I would help her decorate, just never ask me to write something on the cake, as it looks way to much like my hand writing. :th:oops:

Yes!! My sister ate one of each color at Christmas so she had 6. I wonder if she thought they’d taste different:gig

It is time consuming. I worked on them all day the Sunday before Christmas.
