Thanks for checking! We're fine. The day before the storm hit DH got home from Casper and I made a trip to the grocery store. Other than a bit of that "cooped up" feeling, we're fixed up pretty well

DH has always said he doesn't miss Florida, but I do

Get it? Who is making pie today? As you can see from the picture, I already made Pi. I just made a different kind.

Finally got moved in, it was a hassle, but we did it.

I'm making Nikuman tonight. I posted it before, but it's basically meat-stuffed bread balls. It's a Japanese recipe. I'll post pictures when it's done.

My pen pal and China also introduced me to a recipe for steamed eggs. Yes, you read that right. I'm going to try that out too.

Funny story about food. Me and my family were at IHOP eating, when we decided to play with some of the food and pretend that it was singing. We got a video of it. It was quite hilarious. I then sent it to my friend in Utah, with a simple comment. I said, "Is this weird enough for you? How does this make you feel about the Nicholes?"

She laughed pretty hard.

Yes, I can relate. Town is 25 miles one way! We try to stock up and not go too often. Each time to town is a 50 mile trip!!

That reminds me...remember when I talked about the cooking magazine I got at the dentists office? I looked through it the other day to see about making something out of it. Every recipe that looked good to me would have required a trip to the grocery store. So that didn't happen.

When I was waiting for radiation treatments, I would flip through their magazines. oNe day happened on a page that had the top half of the page ripped out. Gone. The recipe on the other half of the page looked pretty good - so I ripped it out and took it home.
I still feel guilty. but it is a good recipe.

I think a lot of people do that. If that's the worst thing you ever do, I think you're ok!
