Any Home Bakers Here?

I made Red Velvet cupcakes to bring to work for Valentines Day and the ladies at my bank requested goodies so they’ll get them also. I wanted to bring homemade angel food but they were a huge fail. They turned out like marshmallows. I made a loaf of buttermilk bread also. My kids love it. My husband likes it too and he’s not a fan of homemade bread.

I should give that a shot though I think the flour has to be mixed in pretty well first since the "splash guard" is worthless.

You add the flour half a cup at a time on low. When the flour is incorporated, you can turn it up the 3 or so

What the heck is wrong with him?? Grew up on Wonder Bread™ and thinks that IS bread?

Suggest to the ladies at the bank they get goodies when you get a higher interest rate on your savings

I don’t think his mom made homemade. This is really soft and he likes soft bread.
The ladies at the bank do pay when I let them. I told them if I ever decide to bake out of my home and sell as a business they can buy from me then.
Interest rate sucks...too bad they aren’t in charge!

My mom made too many to count. With 12 children she was always in the kitchen.

Ma baked our bread as a child did notice when I came home from college her bread was bought go figure
