Any Home Bakers Here?

Following along. No recipes or techniques to share at the moment. If I ever find my cheesecake recipe I'll have to share it. I lost it in the move three years ago... I used to be into bread baking. My favorite loaf I made was a turkey shaped bread with white bread for the body/breast and rye for the legs and wings. It looked really neat. I'll try to find a picture.
It is good to see you here!

That's a 1961 SILVER dime. Pretty rare to find in circulation.

Nice. My dad collects (at at least he used to) weird coins like that. He has a ton of wheat pennies, silver coins, dollar coins from back before they started making them again not long ago.

That one is a keeper. When I was in high school, I worked at a small-town grocery store. The other clerk that I worked with saved all the "Silver Certificate" dollar bills that came through the tills. She would replace the silver certificate dollar bill with a regular dollar bill of course, but I wonder what she did with all those Silver Certificates.

Silver was used in old film for movies. That made a nice market for used silver so most silver dimes and quarters are gone now, melted down to make film for the movie industry
