Can anyone tell me what these tools are that arrived with my Christmas gift, a bread proofing basket. They're some fan shaped things with patterns on and a stick with a metal loop of some kind.

Marie, You have Baking Tools. A danish Whisk to stir, A lined basket
to place the Bread to proof in and probably stencils for the bread tops.
Wonderful Bread and Baking Tools. Aria

If I had to guess I would say you put raw dough ,your loaf in that and put it at a set fridge to retard the yeast . Retarding the yeast gives the dough flavor, But not sure ! You can then flop it over without punching down and coat the top with egg whites and split . But not sure .

Nice!

It is a dough whisk and guides for slashing bread. Did you get a razor for slashing the bread too?

Looks good don't suppose you could e-mail a slice to me ? :drool
Swampfox, Wish I could. It is TOO much for me. I will need to slice and
put some in the freezer. I made a loaf for my neighbor, the gal that purchases my groceries, and my Mailman who brings my mail to my front
door. I have Wonderful Friends and neighbors. I do like saying Thank You
and like to share. Baking...with yeast...keeps in focus. Regards, Aria
