You know how you feel after cleaning the coop, and getting other stuff done outside. Once I was finally hungry (after my shower and pain killers of course), I couldn’t think of what ingredients to put together for food. Making onion rings seemed doable though. All I used was an onion ( :eek: Shocking, right?), watered down sourdough starter and Italian breadcrumbs. :highfive: I even used the air fryer (365* for six minutes works best).

Debby, Had a wonderful day with my Deborah. Her Soup and Pizza was excellent. She Washed my hair and I was able to take a shower....knowing someone was there if I needed help. Comforting. She brought a bunch of things for me: Different teas, cough drops, popcorn, raisin bread, blueberries, yogurt all the things I like. It was a day to remember. Looking forward to more. Now that the weather is changing...she will be able to drive. We talked and talked and enjoyed being able to be together. Aria

Do you share your recipes? If so I would love to have it. My husband said it really looks good.

This time I followed this scone recipe.
http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/9336/chicken-cobbler.aspx

For the steak (or beef) I used two beef stock cubes/pots to 500ml boiling water. A bottle 500ml of ale (was old crafty hen.. I'm sure you can find something like). One onion, carrots (I just added what I thought was enough for 5 of us) and 2 large tins of potatoes (can use real potatoes). And enough meat for X amount of people. I left it cooking in the slow cooker all day.. Just add enough of the (stew I suppose..) to a pan and add the scones on top to cook in the oven.

As above this was for 5 people so you will need less sauce/gravy for less people.

Edit: I also did double the amount for the scones.

@Aria

So glad you had such a good day with your daughter.

The food and assistance was so good for you, but the personal interaction with another human being (especially your daughter) was worth a million dollars or more.

Glad it was such an enjoyment for you.

Thank you so much for the directions and the link for the scones.
