Sounds good to me Jared!!
I don't know about where you live but here we call that kind of weather "Spring".
We have 2-4" of snow today, it won't go much above freezing (if at all) the next 2 days. Not unusual in April. It was 60°+ last Thursday.
Enjoy it while it lasts!
Here that would be a woodchuck tunnel. I had one collapse under me in the barn alley a few years ago. Darned dangerous! I gather people used to shoot, or hire someone to shoot, them. They would tunnel in the pastures and cattle would break a leg when they fell through.
It certainly did!!
I have the same hand problem, no bread machine. But the dough hook on the Kitchen Aid mixer works well. If you make something like the Champlain bread (it is in the index) you don't knead it at all, stretch and fold. That isn't hard on the hands (at least not mine).
Shhhh, don't tell my sister-in-law!!! She loved ends but I refuse to cut the bread until it has cooled or it is much harder to cut later if you whack the ends off warm.
Definitely keep it!! Old, heavy duty and sturdy beats the heck out of new, light and flimsy. No one says you HAVE to fill all the holes
