I hope the appt. went well!

As well as can be expected with my husband.

He has a half empty glass and I have a half full glass.

Sometimes I just want to say poor pitiful you, as he needs to understand things look better than he thinks.
 
How's this for a "Glass half full guy": a friend just got diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. He is relieved to find out that it is not hereditary and his kids aren't at a high risk of getting it. That was his biggest worry about the diagnosis. He is very optimistic about his future.

Are you sure he understood the diagnosis? I have read that people often do not hear how short their time is.
 
I picked a whole lot of peaches last week, and I can't eat them fast enough, they're starting to rot! Other than peach cobbler, crisp, or pie, what are everyone's favorite recipes?

You can freeze them and make jam, pies and etc. later.
