Any Home Bakers Here?

I keep my babies clean but on occasion some clumsy little one drops their poo on the egg. It's rare but it happens

Yep, occasionally the egg is laid not long after the girl poops and has stuff on her butt feathers. Then there is the occasional "from the roost" egg found in the morning.

She's old.

I recall you mentioned that. Doesn't mean she knows that a clean nest box is a plus
I don't know how old she is or if she is incapable of keeping a clean laying environment.

Morning Home Bakers So did we run off another home Baker? I was up at crack of dawn blood draw normal check levels before Doc visit.. Did get a triple shot coming home.

Then you should have got yourself safe and called for an ambulance.. and the police. That person was ill, and needed help! it is classed as a medical emergency.
I dont know if you are joking or not but I dont find anti mental health stuff very funny. This is why some people put off getting help, because of the lack of understanding and judgement from people who have no idea what it's like to be ill like them. That makes them hide it, and that is a very bad thing to have to do.
I think I will join Aria. This place is not for me.

Ok, I need to be VERY blunt with you all, and I encourage you all to listen.

I think @Floydie left because of this post:

A person I knew had a nut allergy tried breaking into my house while in a manic state. Is it wrong that I started coating the door knobs with peanut butter… and there’s no hospital within about an hour?

The last post from @Floydie said “I’m joining Aria, this place isn’t for me.”

I have to say, I am a little angry for a few reasons.

First, Aria leaves, and now Floydie, because of what somebody said on the forum. I am not playing the blame game, but I feel that we all MUST BE CAREFUL what we post, and consider how people will feel if you post something and they read it. I think we ALL need to be more careful from now on.

Second, I tried not to post on this topic, but now that Floydie left, I MUST make a stand. @BullChick I am sorry, I don’t know if you were joking or not, but I MUST disagree, that is NO way to deal with someone with mental illness.

Finally, I will say this one last thing. I INVITE everyone to be careful what we post here from now on. I don’t want to see anyone else leave.

She is near 90 and starting to dim a bit mentally. She lives alone. I think she does her best but probably has close to 50 birds, maybe more. I think keeping her nests clean is a bit beyond her. But she does love her birds and they are all she has. If she didn't have them she would just go toes up. It's not that big a deal for me to make her eggs presentable.
