You can also use fresh buttermilk in place of regular milk in cake or muffin recipes.

Yes, I'm lucky that we have some great fishing. We mostly fish for yellow perch and walleye because those are our favorite to eat, but there are plenty of others to catch for food or for fun. Maybe one day you can make the trip! Ohio is rather inexpensive compared to a lot of places you can travel. Lake Erie can be so pretty too. But watch out, it can change in a heartbeat with a little wind and be pretty rough as well!

I wish you luck with your fishing, wherever it may be! I love trying different fishing spots anywhere I travel.

Near where I live is a place called Dog Creek Reservoir. It’s a pretty good place to ice fish for trout in winter. This was February of this year, when I almost met my personal record. I was half an inch short at 21 inches.
