Oh yeah, that reminds me.

@ronott1 a while ago you said that I might have some roosters because the hatchery included five extra chicks.

They are 10 weeks old on the 10th, and so far, there are no signs of any roosters. It’s actually surprised me. So far, they all look like hens.
That is good news!

I hope everyone had a good 4th of July!
 
We got to 94 today great air conditioning in car and house.
As it was great wall is not open on Sundays or Mondays,
Local Nachos is not open on Mondays tavern does not have air conditioners.
My Birds go through lots of water I hose the coop and ground close
around them with cold water.
I took a very cool shower to cool myself after I came in.
 
My latest baking venture. This was for the Holiday weekend.

The fruit, is what I had on hand. so decided to make it. I also had some cherries, so made an additional loaf using these cherries.
This is quick cake to make with no rise time to encounter.
