My Youngest wants me to make cupcakes tonight so I will be baking chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

Attempting to make farmhouse cheddar again.

Tomorrow would be a great day to bake, but we have all day plans, so it isn't happening. Maybe Sunday?

Today I canned 7 quarts of tomatoes. One FTS. 14 quarts for the year so far.

That’s a good sign, whey is draining while the cheese is being pressed, unlike before.

Heating up the smoker again, too hot to cook, smoking eggplants, and adding fried onions, tomatoes and garlic, yum, tomorrow we have visitors, thinking about baking in the smoker ( berry crumble) but won’t it taste strange with the smokey flavor?!

SUCCESS!!!!

Now I’ve got to let it air dry for 2 to 5 days, turning over every once in a while. After that, I can wax it.
