Any Home Bakers Here?

What I always wonder, whenever I heat the house with the stove, my family shuts all the doors, I tell them to keep the doors open, so the heat can spread out, whenever I turn on the ( expensive) natural gas furnace, my family leaves all doors open, I always tell them to shut all the doors to keep the warmth in 😩

Baking more often since temps are cool.
Here is another idea with different combinations of fruit.
Over the weekend, had some family over. I baked these Baking Powder raised cakes. Yes,,, same dough recipe as the pervious cakes I posted. Just showing the fruit used this time.
Apples, (cut to 1/4 inch size on mandolin slicer), Plums, and Green grapes. (cut in half)

Showing the dough consistency. I then dropped the apple pieces into dough, and mixed with the dough hook.

Pushed the plums, and grapes into the dough.

I need some baking help.

I happen to be cracking some farm fresh eggs, preparing to make Denver omelettes this morning. I cracked open one of them, and this is what I saw.

As you can see, there’s something inside the yolk. This is the fourth time I’ve seen this with my eggs.

What is that? Is it safe to consume?

It's safe and can be normal for some chickens. If it bothers you, gently remove it with the edge of a spoon.

Thanks. I was worried it was an embryo for a moment. I was worried that I had a rooster in the flock somehow.
"Next to blood spots, meat spots can also be found in table eggs. Instead of containing blood, these eggs contain body tissue, either from the ovary, or from the oviduct."

I had to turn my heater on this morning. I am irrationally annoyed. It’s October, it should be getting colder now - but I liked not needing the heater. I’ll have to get the humidifier out too. 😮‍💨
We are still running the AC here in the afternoon.

We may need to heat next week though!
