Any Home Bakers Here?

Nope, no guineas or quail or pheasant. My palate has led a sheltered life.
Guineas are considered a delicacy. Properly cared for pheasants are also excellent. Different varieties of quail have different flavors. Chukars are excellent.

My maternal grandfather would harvest squabs in his hayloft.
 
Our neighbors in Canada raised quail, so we also got to eat some, they are ok, but nothing I would miss eating … what I would like to try is squab 🤔 wait!!! I just looked it up, squab is basically a baby pigeon 😬 no, then I prefer trying a pigeon !!!
