Any idea whats wring with my poor girl?

No, she doesn't go the the nesting boxes at all. She sits in the corner of the pen under the waterer, drinking constantly which all makes me think its not an egg. But, like you said it can't hurt to treat for it.
Sorry your hen is unwell. :(

Symptoms sound nothing like egg binding to me... and the double yolkers happening still often would be an indicator that something is a miss in the reproductive system... more like Salpingitis, EYP, or ascites as mentioned.

The constant drinking could also be a sign of slow crop... I would suggest checking before bed, removing feed and water at night, and check again in the morning to see if it is empty or has any lump left or squishy-ness indicating such. Sometimes it can be a combination of things. :hmm

Hope she recovers quickly! :fl

Thank you, I will check her crop tonight & in the am. I do suspect a reproductive issue but not necessarily egg bound as she isn't walking funny (or walking at all!) and I feel nothing.

As I said he has done it before & I believe didn't lay on the days it happened. But she has always been fine the next day.

& I appreciate all the suggestions, at least I now feel like I'm doing all I can to help her where I just felt helpless before.
I feel helpless all the time with them.
:hugs
I wish I could just ask them what's wrong.

Good luck. I hope she recovers soon. Keep us posted!

NVM. It'd be annoying if they could talk. They would never shut up.

Her crop felt fine to me today (normal I guess, like the others), but I only noticed her drinking so much today too so I didnt pay much attention if it was empty this am. Now that she's crated I havent seen her drink at all but shes eating a mash & getting water there too. :idunno

I went & checked on her & she has had a full half a cup of water in the last 2 hours or so. Her is a pic of her poop - it looks greenish or bluish & almost like pellets. (Flourescent light makes it look different)

What does one do for a crop issue?

Shes not doing well. :(

Eta I just went out & felt her crop, there isnt much in there at all. I couldnt even really feel it. But when I put her back she ate more. )

The poop is representative of a hen that has all but quit eating. Since there's no sign of a crop disorder, you may be dealing with a bacterial infection or reproductive disorder, of which there are many.

My standard practice when I rule out a crop disorder or egg binding is to start the patient on an antibiotic to counter infection, even without a diagnosis. I buy mine here. https://pet-healthcare.revivalanimal.com/search?p=Q&ts=custom&w=fish antibiotics

I'm making her scrambled eggs now.

I do have tylan, do you think that would help or is it mainly for respiratory issues?
