the Tridintine Mass is the latin Mass, very beautiful and moving- i remember it from childhood, making a comeback, slowly-

Thanks for the link! I do not specific questions now because I am basically clueless about the Catholic faith and their traditions.

and to partly answer the question about "lighting a candle for someone", is that the smoke from a candle or an incensor signifies our prayers rising into heaven for that person.

Now this is a very simplified answer but, that is all I have at the moment.
