My chicks from Ideal are scheduled to ship out this Wednesday morning. I'm SO excited!!!! It's hard to wait - I feel like a kid on Xmas eve! I have my nursery all set up, warmed up, and ready for babies!

I'm hoping they arrive on Thursday morning, but considering that I'm in Florida, I'm thinking it's pretty unlikely...probably going to be Friday. I just hope they're all alive and well!!!!!

Mine were shipped out today. They will be here Wednesday. I only live an hour away from Ideal and it always takes two days to get here!!

I dont know why it takes sooooo long. If I still had my car my babies would be here right now! I guess until then I'll just wait..

Most farms don't allow pick up. I live within a couple miles of Belt Hatchery. If I got theirs I would have had to order from a feed store. Contamination issues.

I think their website says you can arrange to pick them up.

You just cannot 'tour' the place.

Holy crap!! I have 13 extra babies.

And I wasnt even suppose to get these today!!! They were suppose to be here tomorrow, its always taken two days to get here.

my last order had 8 silver sebrights out of ten that were doa. i called ideal they are replaceing them they ship out today and its turning cold here again i also orederd 5 jersy giants and 1 roo i sure hope everything gets here fine.
