Any rat fanciers here?

oh i love rats! i have one that my uncle saved from the lab at the local university, brought him home to me and i've had him ever since
hes a really good boy, hes very sweet and very smart
he got his first bath today and wasnt very pleased LOL
oh well, he needed it
but i hope to get another male rat here soon so Lucky, the rat, will have a little friend.

Ok, so I don't have any at the moment, will hopefully get more in the near future, but I'm shocked to see nobody posted pictures! Come on people, show 'em off! Let those of us who love them and don't or can't have them live vicariously through yours.

We have thought of getting a rat, but timing has never been right. My ten year old just lost his fish and we are thinking of letting him get another pet in the near future. He wants a parakeet (dad is not a bird lover) or a gerbil (not my favorite) but I think a rat would be a good pet and so does his old sister. He is not impressed. I would love to see pics and here more good stories I could show him about your ratties that might impress him, tricks they do, how smart they are, etc.
