Who has some good Canada Goose recipes? I have too many Canada Geese in the hayfield destroying things, some gotta go, and they might as well be tasty. Are they good to eat all times of year or just the fall? Here we can get a pest permit for them but I hear most that take them this time of year use them for dog training and/or dog food. Is there a reason why?
 
I dont see why. If it is legal, you might as well eat them. I dont konw what the weather is like where you are, but if it is warm they may spoil quickly. I like to smoke whole goose breast with apple or cherry wood. Slice it thin, across the grain, and drool.
