Hey Geri!
Writer.... What a simple word for such a diverse field. I'm on my final edit of a novel (if there is such a thing!). I had the idea back in 2005 and when business screeched to a halt, I began to put serious time into it. I found out that I LOVE to write. You know the kind of love - when you write that perfect chapter and afterward you stand up and do a giddy raindance over the conflict and resolution? Yeah, that kind...
I have had two editors and both are pushing me to publish, but I've yet to find an agent (not sure where to start). I have the outline for the sequel and the story inside me, as well as complete outlines for several more stories. I guess you could say that I've found my niche.
Even if I never get published, my grandkids ought to love it. My kids (18 & 23) gave me a good review, so it must be good, right?
The book is titled "Between Live and Death", is almost 700 pages and every one flowed like water.
The problem is, how in the world can you get paid to do something that you absolutely love? LOL
Well, thanks for bringing up the subject. I wish each of you much grace toward you writing efforts.
