I have 5 chicks coming in just minutes! Supposed to come at 12:00, and its 11:44!

Cute chicks Diana, I JUST got the call from the Post Offic, they just arrivd on the afternoon truck, my husband and daughters are going to pick them up. I decided to work from home today and will sacrifice by going in on Friday instead, lol. Can't wait they should be back in just a few minutes.

Mine are 'guaranteed' to arrive by 3 today - but I doubt it, lol. Maybe I'll get my fuzzy butts tomorrow. They were sent express mail, so I do hope so! Although I guess I better wait till three until I say for sure they won't here today. Till then I'm just sitting by the phone

They are here and so cute, 6 of the 7 are doing great, one who happens to have the most unsual markings is not.

Here is the one not doing so well, we managed to get her to take some Sav-a-chick and eat a couple of crumbles but she can't walk, she kind of scoots a little and barely holds her head up. Any suggetions for what else we could do?


In my Rare Breed assortment, I was promised 3 different breeds by purchasing 5, however it almost looks like we got 2 of one breed and 3 of another. Guess I'll have to watch them a little longer to see how they change.

Edited to add that my rare breeds are definately 3 different breeds, once I got a look at them outside the red lighting I could tell that two are more black and white and the other has more of a red/brown tint to it.

I just got back from the post office with my chicks. I was told tat they would be here by 12:00 but I got the call around 2:30...But who really cares? They are all healthy and eating. One seems to be a little droopier than the others but im sure he will be fine.
