Have any of you ever ordered Ameraucana's from John Blehm in Michigan?

What was your experience?

How safe is it to have chicks mailed from Michigan to Tennessee?

He has some of the finest exhibition quality birds in the World. Order early as he sells out soon!

He is an honest and respectible breeder of quality poultry and you will not go wrong with ordering but you better order now since he is sold out very early before the hatching season begins.

Definitely recommend him! And don't worry about your distance, I've gotten chicks from South Carolina and I'm from Washington

Never had any deaths.

chickhatchery.com - Name is very misleading.

AtRendeAcres - You must consider though, most Buffs out there are in serious need of work. . . There are bound to be some with the wrong color of egg, some black or khaki in them, the wrong body type, too little beard/muffs, etc. Even Lavenders can pop up with single combs.

However I've never heard of a single combed Buff Ameraucana - But I do see, in almost every case, Buffs with terrible pea combs that I guess one could call a single comb. The first and third row are hardly there at all.
