Anybody want to hatch with me? Day 19

3 pipped!!! I'm so excited, I may get nothing done today!!!

I've got 5 pipped now, but no zips or chicks yet. Kinda glad I'm on my way to work, this hatch is stressing me with the low temps and slowwww chicks, hopefully I'll get home to babies!

I'm on day 17. I also have a question....Do I keep turning my eggs? When do I stop turning them? Bet you can tell this is my first time, lol. They are 3 Frizzle Cochins.

One zipped and out, then back in, then out...hehehe

other 2 are still just pipped.

We stopped turning on day 18. Egg #5 hasn't done anything else since it pipped a small hole. Egg #6 hasn't done anything. I'm pretty sure they died. We quickly got the 4 chicks out yesterday afternoon. They were beating the snot out of each other and pecking each other's eyes. Got them in the brooder with food and water and they are doing great!

I am on day 20 and nothing yet. I sware I see the eggs wiggle and I go to show my hubby and it stops. I think I am really close to being committed...LOL. I will be satisfied if just one would hatch. Anything at this point.


Finger crossed for all of our hatches!!!!

im on day 18 just candled out of 42 eggs 8 were clear looking good so far.

Stop turning on day 18 and add water to bring humidity up to 65+ then do NOT open bator any more.

tomorrow is my day 18, I so can't wait...I get to be anxious all weekend!!

This is my first hatch ever, tried with a broody before and it was no good. So I bought an incubator and here I am.

I've got 15 in there and I candled a few and something was growing. If I get one, that is better than none

I have 8 out and about 50+ left. I think there are about 20 pipped so hopefully this is going to be a great hatch!!!
