Anyone "DUE" the 11th? (lol) CANDLING PICS ADDED PG 2

Just got in and went to check eggs. Low and Behold ... NOTHING!
UGH! I guess I am going to be praying by tomorrow. I really was hoping for a good hatch on these for my son. He just loves this breed.

And tomorrow I get to move the SLW and two mutts to the hatcher. So I seriously need to get these guys hatched.

Nice pics everyone.
I've had some random issues with my bator so I don't really know what to expect from it.
I still have the one out, and 6 others pipped and zipped....
Eariler today the hum was low....then at sunset, it was 104 temps....
So I dont know what to do really.
Congrats on all the hatchies

Sorry your hatch isn't going well...

I have 18 out and more on the way still. I didn't know it would be so spread out. I took 12 dry babies out this afternoon because they were going crazy in the bator. They did seem much happier in the brooder and are quieter.

I will put up more pics tomorrow.

Update: Today is the Due date.
7 have hatched- 6 black (dominique/Australorops) 1 BO (From BYC'er Pumpkinpup!!)
3 of the others seem to have pipped, but hard to tell, lots of activity in the bator this morning

I'm so sorry! Was this your first hatch? It's hard at this time of the year with the icky temps. You may yet be surprised. If the temp was below 100 it may take an extra day, or if the humidity was low... Did you candle them? Was there activity along the way?

Govega, I know what you mean.

Christina, no this isn't my first time to say the least, but my first year at this. I hatched several hundred quail eggs this past summer. And a few chickens. These eggs also came from a damaged box, but I candled and know they were developing. My bator has been between 100 and 101 the entire time - and it is a still air, so maybe an extra day. I am just hoping not to disapoint my 7 yr old on these! I also have a couple to move into the hatcher with them tonight. I am leaving early in the morning for a piggie show and don't want to forget on our mad dash out of the house at 5 am. I am not having much luck with those shipped ones but now my two mutts are looking perfect. Figures! LOL

Here's to being late... I hope!
