Anyone else get their MPC special? **Pics and updates**

Their new house is lovely and they look so happy. Mine are enjoying their temporary new digs in my stock trailer. My horse got curious and poked her head in before I closed the back. I don't know who got more of a fright. The chicks all freaked and fled into the safety of their carrier (I have a cat carrier in there for them to sleep in). Chex (10yo paint mare) almost fell over sideways as the feathers and shavings flew everywhere.

Now she won't go near her trailer.

I'm gonna have to convince her that the little fluttery demons are gone before the next time I try to take her somewhere.

I took possession of a MPC brown egg layer assortment (6) almost 4 weeks ago. They are so healthy and precious. They spent almost the whole day outside in the brooder box inside the coop. Now they are sleeping and not a peep to be heard. They wore themselves out being "big" chickens outdoors. I am pleased with the shipping and assortment I got. Just hope they scored 100% on the pullet test. No roosters in town...

Here's pics of my MPC rainbow layer assortment chicks at 3 weeks old, and what I think they are:

I've got some suspicious pink combs, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they're all pullets!

At least everyone is healthy & happy!

How's everyone else's MPC chicks doing?

Mine are doing well, but still not as feathered as most around here. I think mine are a week behind everyone. I'll try to post some pics. I finally loaded their 3 week old pics. Mine are four weeks today! Wow how time flies!

Thanks, Whirlwind!

Time does fly by, and they get big fast...I don't think I'm going to be able to get away with taking their pictures on the kitchen counter anymore!

Ok SunnyChic, I need to know. What makes you think that the chicks are Brown Leghorns? I have 10 of those. I have noticed subtle differences between the chicks. What finally convinced you? I believe that some of mine are Brown Leghorns (more brown & golden) and some are Welsummers (more rusty red)?
