anyone else hatching may 1st

The 4 that have pips have not done anything in 12 hours. Hope they haven't died. One I know is still alive because see breathing at hole but others may not have even gotten through the membrane. I have really stayed busy today so not to hang over the bator. My 12 year old neighbor watched the one hatch and did a play by play for me while I planted shrubs. He was so excited! the chick is beautiful but quite small. Maybe soon!! Hope all others have great hatches. We just need to be patient, I know. Hard to do!!!!

My first and only for the time being.

I just lifted up my broodybator... she has one out and fluffed, and another was zipped! Couldn't see on the others. I am going to let her be....

I haven't read the whole thread, but thought this was an appropriate place to post my chickie that hatched out last night. Still waiting on a couple other eggs that I still have hope for.

Sadly, yes. We made the decision as a family (dad, mom and I) to open the three eggs we had left. Two of the three had nothing but veins and a small spot (most likely heart) and the other was a little bit larger but all were dead...

We are really really bummed right now but not giving up. We have new eggs arriving in three weeks.

still waiting on mine one i checked today just to be sure has broke trhrough the air sac....so any time now, mabey in the morning ill have some....

I now have 4 chicks, one I think dead or with serious problem in the shell. It has a pip but with moisture, bubbles coming out as breathing. The beak was visible but nothing else being done. I think a problem with the bird not being able to move to get out.
