Anyone else having babies shipped from Meyer Hatchery today?

My P.O. is pretty awesome
I had 6 cream legbars shipped and tracking said arrive May 1. But they actually arrived 11 am April 30.. and I didn’t figure that out til 3 pm because I work nights and was sleeping with not a care in the world lol

Mine arrived ready for anything after their 24 hour trip!
I’m amazed at how well chicks ship in optimal conditions... it didn’t get too cold but they had heat packs

How's your babies?!

I had an order of 18, combined with 2 co-workers. All 18 are healthy and happy thus far! I'm very much in love with my little blue cochin!

The three replacements blended in with their 1 week old brooder mates as if they were there from the beginning. Not all 16 were out from under the brooder plate when I took this.
The little 1-day old Ancona chick gets hold of the 8-day old Lakeshore egger at 34 seconds. You can hear me chuckling at her in the background!

I just noticed my shipping label was created! No tracking info yet, but I'm SO excited. This is my first time ordering through the mail, so I'm a little nervous, too. I have a blue cochin, a blue splash marans, a golden cuckoo marans, and a jubilee orpington showing up between tomorrow and Thursday. I can't wait!

Just wondering what you think of your Jubilee. I just ordered a pair plus 3 blue orps and 1 lavender orp and two buffs. But haven't seen any pictures or posts of people ordering them yet and I'm so so curious/excited.

I have to wait for my Jubilee's until July the rest should get to me on Wednesday order was filled today and should get shipping info soon fingers crossed. Hoping they are as good quality as they look in the pictures.

Hello all!
Hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread but I ordered 10 chicks(well actually 8 but 2 more hopped in my basket 3 weeks ago lol) way back in February for today and had a text from Meyer at 11.45am this morning to say they were on their way and just had a text from USPS saying they should be delivered to my PO by 3pm tomorrow!
Original estimate was 5/7 to 5/9.I'll keep my fingers crossed that tracking info is correct!
To say I am excited and nervous all at once is an understatement hehe.

Yes! Says delivery tomorrow!!! Ahhhh!!!! Worried about which post office they'll arrive to... Guess we'll figure it out
