Anyone else having babies shipped from Meyer Hatchery today?

Just heard that my chicks are being delivered straight to me from a PO about 17 miles away between 11 and 12.30 today,so I do not have to pick them up from my local PO as I had expected, very happy as that means they have only been in transit for about 24 hours.
MHP heating up nicely atm :)

I can't seem to figure out if they're going to bring them with the regular mail (like every other package) or if i'll need to go pick them up at the post office as Meyer Hatchery seems to warn in their communications.... How'd you get confirmation that they're coming to your house on a mail truck?

Call the post office. Last year I called right as the truck was showing up there so I went and picked them up, this year the post office called me and told me they had arrived and officed to have the mail carrier take them to my house, but I told them screw that (I was at work and couldn't sit around at home to wait on them) and drove down to the post office to pick them up. Then I took them home, settled them in, and went back to work. (Chicks from Meyer both times.)

I went to my local PO ( about 500 yards away) yesterday to let them know I was having chicks delivered there but this morning I had a call from the PO 17 miles way to say that they had arrived from our regional distribution center and that they would deliver either to my home or my local PO.
I asked how come this was and she told me that they normally get sent all the chicks for the local area and that they then also then deliver them,so very pleased that it all seemed so efficient!
Sat here anxiously waiting lol!

The tracking is terrible. Mine went from shipping label created to arrived at destination facility. I called my post office and they said they'll call me. I don't have much faith in them due to previous experiences, so I really hope they redeem themselves!

They arrived at 12.15pm ..all happy, seemingly healthy, bouncing babies!
They were delivered in an unmarked car not a truck.
Yes the tracking is not so reliable, this morning it said mine were still at Cleveland OH distribution center, which clearly they were not hehe.
Hope all everyone elses chicks arrive safely soon :)
