Anyone ever had your arm numbed for surgery???

The new meds aren't making me sick, but I think I'm past the stage for really needing them. It still hurts but not really bad, It is now mostly the stitches that are very irritating. especially the ones in my wrist the bandage is rubbing them The one finger that had the protruding bone and the wire removed ishurting the most.

I tryede to take a Pic of my hand. Hopefully tomorrow when I go to the therapist it will be downsized some\\

wow, bummer about your hand. I hope you recover as much movement as you can.

Ditto on the laxitives... those pain killers will bind you up tighter than a hungry tick on a fat dog!

Also have to eat when taking pain pills, they can be pretty rough on the tummy.

Ah yes, when you go to the therapist today might be when you get your Frankenstien contraption. Be sure to get us pics of that! We never did get any of DH's, darn it.

I have the same kind of brace , I had before. I was going to take a pic, but camera say it is full and is my daughters so I'll have to wait on her.

I'm haveing trouble keeping my fingers warm. I'm haveing to wrap a towl around my hand to try to keep my fingers warm. When this plastic cast gets cold, it takes awhile to get it warm and I'm not allowed to take it off, they don't want my new tendon to blow out

I already have Raynaud's disease. in my fingers and toes, So I'm in double trouble now !! If it hits 40 degrees I have to wear mittens and hand warmers, It is really hard to find good heavey mittens !!
