Anyone ever had your arm numbed for surgery???

Yuck, I'm glad you didn't feel anything. I didn't feel a thing which is how I like it.
Thank, I hope so too.

I am so sorry. I knew you had hurt your hand, but I had no idea how badly! If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I can be there in a little over an hour. I mean that. Just holler.

OMG! Ouch, I am so sorry that happened to you! You know, my husband's always afraid when I use power tools.........Well, you sound like you're in good spirits! The numbing reminds me of when I had my first baby, only it was my legs that went numb. Very weird to poke yourself in the legs and not feel a thing. I had an epidural, but I don't think I was supposed to go soooo numb.

I sure hope you heal up well!

Sharon

Yes, we could talk chickens! I was out late doing some chicken chores and I was looking at the cochins I got from your eggs... They are absolutely gorgeous! Really beautiful birds.

Yes everyone needs to be very careful. A man at our church just cut off his thumb and part of 2 fingers .After going to the doctor and therapy for months I've learned it happens way to often. So while building our chicken coops we all need to be extra careful.!!!!
ThaNK YOU

wE ARE SELLING ALL OUR COCHINS,i'VE GOT THEM ON AN AUCTION ON byc Megan wanted other breeds and I told her we were out of room, so someone would have to go,so she picked the cochins. She has dark cornish bantams and blue wheaten OEG's I drove all the way to
kentucky for them. After spending a small fortune I told her she better be happy, we are keeping the breeds we have.

I've had my hand numed for when they cut one of my fingers off. Felt everything but pain. Weird

For the first few days, you definately want to take your pain meds very regularly. Pain is a natural trigger to start your body healing, but unbearable pain has the opposite effect. Be sure to remember to drink enough water; its how everything gets into your cells.

Surgery is so much more sophisticated now than when I had mine over 30 yrs ago. You are going to be fine. If it hurts tomorrow, just remember that it will feel better and better every day and you'll strengthen it to better than ever...

I'm heading that way to look!
