Anyone ever used topical selamectin/ Revolution for scaly leg mites?

I found a dose and used it for the 3 seramas i just bought that had evidence of scaly leg mites. the dose was 2.72mg/lb. I had a 120mg/ml tube of it so I just put a couple of drops on the skin of their neck. Hope this works because I was NOT happy to discover that these birds I bought had this. The person who sold them to me didn't bother to tell me.

Nobody? Well I used it and my birds are great so maybe I got some info out there for you people.

I just came across this post. Thank you for "experimenting" with this as I had considered trying it on my birds too. You didn't have any problems after applying it right? Did you have a dog or a cat dose vial that you used?
