Temps are all back to normal now....took forever for the computer to connect and I could hardly wait to post!

Will simply think good thoughts. Had candled the other day and have one blood ring and 40 with movement....so only good thoughts!

We are totally waiting by the incubator all night. My kids are camped out on the floor and we all jump up at every chirp. So far 9 pips I think, no zips.

I know they'll all hatch as soon as I give up and go to bed. From pip to zip is the looooooonnngggest part of the whole incubation - hatching process.

good morning Day 21, just as suspected last marans left on hatched this morning and last one is pipping. Hope everyone had a great hatch.

my bbs orps went into lockdown this morning and i'm hoping for a higher percentage hatch on these shipped eggs than on my first hatch

Thanks! WoW! 61! Do you have two incubators going? That is so exciting! I had 3 more this morning for a total of 13 out of the 21/22. There are 4 in there with pips and two of those are rocking and peeping. One of them appears stuck...I don't know what to do....

yup...I think it is definately stuck, but, very much alive. The pip is all bloody. I had one yesterday start to pip out and then it turned to blood and then it died, but, this one has been bloody since yesterday and it still actively trying to pick at that spot this morning. I wouldn't begin to know how to help or even if I should....poor duckling.

Day 19 here I don't see much happening and don't hear anything. 3 eggs I have seen moving but nothing else. Is this normal? I have never incubated eggs before. Also my 5 year old lifted the incubator for about 3 seconds until I turned around asked him to shut it quick???
