Are they circles with little hooks all around? When I was a little kid we used to make wooden spools with little nails and wrap crochet thread on them. Sort of like that?

OK! Saw them at Michaels, but they where like $20 bucks, I thought my daughter with CP might like one for Christmas. She is always wanting to embroider or crochet with me but just doesn't have the fine motor skills. Think she could do it?
