Anyone have a rooster that didn't crow???

I like to hear a rooster crow, too. It's one of the sounds that announces that I am in the country. When I lived in town, I fed the songbirds heavily. I loved to wake to the sounds of the birds in the morning. One of my neighbors very nastily asked me to take down my feeders because she hated to be awakened by the sounds of birds singing. There is just no pleasing some people. I am glad to be back in the country where I can hear my own rooster crowing and my neighbors roo crowing too.

All of our roos eventually began to crow. We keep our roo in the house, he has a special cage, until when the animals are fed in the morning, then he can go out anc crow as much as he likes. We hatch many of his young, we have a large batch in the bator right now.

I love to hear roos crow, I can hear them when I'm sleeping, it doesn't really wake me up, but some people can't stand them. Some people don't like horses or goats or people, they may not like themselfs.
