Keep them separate till they are bigger ..or see if she will switch them outY’all!!!! I am not good at letting chickens sort out the pecking order! Especially when the new ones are smaller. I feel so stupid! I am so tempted to take these small ones back and get larger ones, would even let me??? W

I found it to be almost universally successful with incredible results. 
The hardest part for me was teaching the poor HUMANS 
the coordination to to use it effectively! Takes a little practice, and the human's timing on the CLICK ( as an event marker) has to be spot on, but once they've mastered that, they are amazed at how fast their dogs LEARN!
I'd never heard of Nutria. I'm learning so much here. I've seen capybara in zoos. Once I saw a dead beaver in the road and turned around and drove past it slowly b/c I'd never seen or heard of one around here before and didn't believe it was real. Also, once while driving down the road I had a mink run across the road. Weirdest thing ever. Like a super long ferret. It moved like a slinky.
This worked for me. My youngest chicks were a month younger than my oldest chicks, at least. When I first got them I kept them in a wire hamster cage that was inside the larger area with the other chicks so they could see them, but not peck at them. I tried to integrate them a few times, but the big ones immediately started pecking the little ones. After about a month everyone was close enough in size that I could put them together. It's kind of like buying a Christmas tree. You see it and think Yeah, that's the right size, then get it home and it's soooo not the right size.
I think it's funny that they're all happily sitting in their own nest b/c we all know that doesn't happen.. they all fight over the favorite nest, standing next to it yelling for them to hurry up. (reminds me of my daughters fighting over the bathroom.)
