Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

I'm not too sure about Fitbit groups but if you PM me your email address I can add you to the group and we can get to stepping..tomorrow.

Joined the group. You can guess who I am?! :lau

And I am definitely nuts... DH says so ALL THE TIME cause I stay married to his ass.... not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing...:hmm

10 Adult hens, 20 adult ducks. 130+ teens and pre-teens. 50 or so young turkeys. Girls quit laying when I ran out of my custom blend of feed and had to move to tucker for a while, now using another blend (not happy with it) waiting for the guy to finish ginning cotton so he'll fix the roaster and start making my custom blend. Co-op new management decided that it was too much of a pain to make my feed and after all they're just chickens...
O.M.G. That's a ridic amount of birds! How do you keep up with all the poop??!! Do you do the bird thang for a living?

A whole 50 lb bag?? :th

My thoughts exactly!

This guy is nuts...this coop is going to be the cutest thing.
Had me at "silkies, Dr seuss"
Yup, one ton lasts 40 days. And still no eggs:mad::mad:

You are making me feel better. 13 girls and getting 3 eggs most days.
(That's out of 6 pullets who aren't molting.)
You have to remember....I only have 9 chickens and 6 of them are bantams.

With chicken math that's -15!

50 Turkeys! Thanksgiving? Pretty soon your feed bill sounds like it will be smaller!

My latest "farm girl ingenuity" hanging feeder. Modeled with the lovely C.C.

An old milk jug with a bamboo skewer. LOL
