Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Hahahaha, I love you Smuv.

Better watch what you post there (even the tiny subliminal font, lol) lest you get shut down and cleaned up, like I did! :duc
I got cleaned up too. I get the whole 'family site' thing, but it's strange when something I said gets cleaned up, but where someone quoted me wasn't. Maybe they can't see that part. And someone else said the same thing of mine that was deleted, but their's wasn't. Oh well.. I'm just keeping these good people in a job. But I wonder as they're cleaning up stuff if they LOL too as they're deleting things or if they're thinking What is WRONG with these people?!

I am super stoked for you @pitbullmomma!!!
They are so exciting to finally get.
Last winter I had to buy eggs..... The only ones I could find that even came close to eggs from my girls were from Vital Farms.
You will really enjoy your super fresh eggies!
Making a note NOT to trigger Smurvie.......
I am making a beef stew today.....darn cold weather..... I think I will bake some bread too.
I was thinking stew too, but I don't have any cow & *should* wait instead of spending $$ I don't have. Plus tonight is dance night so it's either left overs or pizza night... but I have stuff for tacos too.. Eh, the kids can decide. Stew later this week though. getting down into the 20's over night. I might need to turn on the heat soon.

Sadly, it did not... it quit, along with #10... and those 2 were the BEST, most moving ones!!! :hit

Whachoo mean, NOT trigger Smurvie... I am ALWAYS TRIGGERED!!!!!:he:mad:
That's so sad! I was really pulling for that one. Hopefully this cracked baby makes it. It's going to be my favorite.

My kids don't really do left overs. There's very few things they'll eat more than once. They won't even eat spaghetti at home if they ate it at their dad's over the weekend. IDK if that means mine is horrible or if their dad's is horrible, or if both are horrible.

Sometimes, it's just what chickens do. Keeping a careful watch on them saved your Sesame. You are right, sometimes one or the other has to go.

Crazy chickens! I have 2- 6 wk old Bantam cochins I found a little bit ago feather pulling, screaming, back and forth with each other. It was kind of brutal to watch. One is in the time out pen. I know interfere too much, but I cannot help it. No telling what I miss the other 22 hours I am not watching.

I have tried to turn off email notifications from this group and I am not having luck. Any ideas or directions?
